The Hunter and Richards Design Consultation Service is made for people who want some quick ideas and expert advice to help them coordinate the look and feel for their project.

INVEST IN YOUR DESIGN DECISIONS

Even the smallest design projects can get complicated very quickly, so having experienced eyes look over your plans can save you time and money.

And larger design projects can require specialist advice or assistance to fit into the bigger picture.

Using our Design Consultation Service means that you can use professional designers to help you get the most out of your new project – without the committment.

For a small initial investment, you get:

  1. Up to two hours of face-to-face meeting time
  2. An additional two hours of our follow-up time
  3. Guidelines on implementing your ideas
  4. The option to continue on an hourly basis

For more information on costs, please contact us.

THE INTRODUCTORY MEETING

The first part of the service involves up to two hours of face-to-face, individual consultation time with a Hunter and Richards Director. You’ll get on the spot advice, as well as tips that help you coordinate your ideas and provide direction for your project.

This meeting can be at your place, or you can come to us. If you are coming to us, it is suggested that you bring all of your resource material including planning, photographs, magazine clippings, photos, paintings, art objects, or anything that inspires you! Any existing or proposed documentation always comes in handy too. And coming to our office means you can get hands-on – touching and feeling samples or viewing catalogues and colour swatches, where you will work with us to build your concept.

Remember that if we are coming to you, our time includes travel. Your designer will bring an invoice with them which will be payable before you receive your guidelines.

FOLLOW-UP DESIGN TIME

After your face-to-face time, you get up to two additional hours of our follow-up time – time used by your designer after the meeting to gather and supply any information you may need, called guidelines. These may be anything from custom sketches, to shopping lists, to product images from catalogues, referrals, paint colours or materials samples.

GUIDELINES

You will receive your guidelines via email or snail mail. The guidelines will be one of, or a combination of; sketches, a shopping list, specific product information, supplier and/or trade contact details, or some finishes samples.

CONTINUING WORKS

If you would like to review the advice and suggestions provided in your guidelines, or you would like to continue working with us on your project, the standard rate per hour will apply. You will receive an Estimate via email outlining the tasks and time necessary to complete and deliver these additional works.
